The Lion and The Unicorn is a digital graphic novel currently playing out on Facebook, described as Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror meets Grant Morrison’s The Filth. by The Geek Syndicate.
The content is great (I am heavily biassed, having worked with creator Ash Pure for a long time now and financed the publishing of the print comic) and the digital form is good, i.e. playing to the medium's strength, not regurgitating the printed page.
The real question is this; is Facebook a valid medium for story telling? Or is perhaps Mr. Waid's PDF format a more satisfying experience
I would love to know your thoughts.
