How many new faces are you seeing because of digital comics? While many of my regulars are sampling new titles online (somehow, i.e. torrent probably) they're picking up more titles and more varied titles based on what they see, I'm now seeing new faces wanting hard copies of the books they've read online, or even picking up comics again after seeing a title online that they dropped a long time ago. Am I alone with this or is it common? Is this a good thing for long term retailing or a bump in business until the "perfect" digital viewer is released? Compare or contrast.
I think it makes perfect sense. There's web comics I've read online before and said "man, I want to buy a collection of this!"
Heck, Axe Cop would have been DOA if other people didn't think the same way.
