What a friend we have in Twitter. Hope you like the pop-up captions technique, because we use it to what I believe is strong effect in this installment. And, yes, most of those @TheRealGalahad followers are real. They’re fans of the series, and this is far from the last time we’ll be incorporating live tweets into the installments, so if you want to be part of the next round (and join the Insufferable universe and be in-continuity and EVERYTHING!), start following @TheRealGalahad and we’ll seek you out.

In the meantime, again, if you’re enjoying the series, spread the word to everyone you can. I expect some major growth to our readership in the coming weeks as we start to roll out some new weekly series, but in the meantime, every recommendation helps. Thank you for your support.

Hey, Mark, you don’t have your email up so I’ll write this here. I just listened to you talking on NPR about how to get people to buy more comics. It’s really funny hearing about getting more into the technology aspects, but no recognition about how you’re neglecting huge amounts of the population as far as who you direct stories toward.

Let’s face it, you’re only wring and drawing for horny teenage boys and loser men who won’t grow up. There’s nothing for intelligent grown ups, there’s nothing for children, and there’s nothing at all for women. We can argue this, but you’re smart guy so why bother?

It makes no sense to ignore these people and even alienate them. Stories written for kids are all usually extremely dumbed down and insulting. All female characters are rape fantasies, and everything else is pretty shallow. You want people to buy comics, expand the variety this genre would be enjoyed by.

It shocks me in a day and age that a major sci-fi site like is run and edited entirely by women that there are no compelling female characters in the DC line up. We’re still in the age of Jim Lee super boobs and building characters through sexual exploitation. Grow up dude. Grow your industry up. I’m a dad very willing to by comics for a daughter who would like to read them. You’re not getting my money.
